According to Russian Omsk media reports, the region’s first container train carrying 2,000 tons of flax departed for China on September 23.

This train carries 100 containers of Omsk flax, which is the first export to China.

The train departed from Kalbyshevo-1 station on the evening of September 23 to Nakhodka, and then was transported to Tianjin by sea. Shipping time is approximately 2 weeks.

This transportation is based on the direct agreement signed between Russia and China. The export of a large amount of flax to China will be a trial run to familiarize ourselves with the route process. If successfully implemented, barley and wheat will be shipped to China in this way in October. </p
