On February 11, 2021, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued an announcement stating that in response to an application submitted by the Association of Man-made Fibers Industry of India (Association of MasdfssdfsnMasdfssdfsdeFibreIndustryofIndiasdfssdfs (AMFII)), the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued an announcement stating that products originating in or imported from China , Indonesia’s viscose staple fiber (except bamboo fiber) (Viscose StasdfssdfspleFibreexcludingBasdfssdfsmbooFibre) initiated the second anti-dumping sunset review investigation. This case involves products under Indian Customs Code 5504.10.00. The products under investigation do not include bamboo fiber, dyed fiber, modal fiber, flame retardant fiber and all other types of viscose staple fiber. The dumping investigation period in this case is from September 1, 2019 to October 31, 2020 (12 months), and the damage investigation period is from April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018, and from April 1, 2018 to 2019 March 31, 2019, April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020 and the dumping investigation period.

On July 26, 2010, India began to impose anti-dumping duties on viscose staple fibers (except bamboo fiber) originating in or imported from China and Indonesia. On July 11, 2015, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry launched the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation into viscose staple fibers (except bamboo fiber) originating in and imported from China and Indonesia. On August 8, 2016, India extended the validity period of anti-dumping measures against products from China and Indonesia for the first time until August 7, 2021.
