Brazil’s “Economic Value” reported on February 23 that the Foreign Trade Commission of the Brazilian Ministry of Economy (CAMEX) issued four decisions on that day to reduce import tariffs on some products, mainly members of Mercosur Products that the country does not produce or cannot meet demand.

The import tax rate for some drugs and pharmaceutical raw materials, nickel-titanium-based metal wires, camera lenses and other 22 tax codes has been reduced to zero or 2%.
