Swedish H&asdfssdfsmp;M Group invested in Alchemie Technology, a global disruptor of textile dyeing and finishing technology, to support the company’s commercial promotion and accelerate the transformation of the global textile manufacturing industry.

H&asdfssdfsmp;M Group, through its investment arm H&asdfssdfsmp;M CO:LAB, and San Francisco-based venture capital fund At One Ventures invested in Alchemie Technology, At One Ventures focuses on investments related to disruptive technologies that address climate change.

Alchemie Technology uses advanced digital technology to develop new textile dyeing and finishing technology. Its industrial solutions provide textile manufacturers with a unique value proposition, replacing traditional textile processing with lower costs, higher yields and a sustainable approach. With the addition of software services, the supply chain has been digitized and the transformation towards full digital manufacturing has continued.

H&asdfssdfsmp;M said that this investment will promote the commercial promotion of digitally manufactured textiles in the global market. The technology includes Alchemie’s Endeasdfssdfsvour intelligent waterless dyeing, and Novasdfssdfsrasdfssdfs precision digital finishing.

Alchemie’s Endeasdfssdfsvour smart waterless dyeing technology enables garment manufacturers to remove contaminated wastewater produced by dyeing and significantly reduce the carbon footprint of dyeing. The company said that the Endeavor solution has been proven to shorten delivery times, reduce minimum order quantities, and can save 50% of costs compared to traditional technologies, and is welcomed by global textile manufacturers and fashion brands.

The market demand for Alchemie’s Novasdfssdfsrasdfssdfs precision digital finishing technology is also surging. Alchemie said that compared with traditional technology, this technology can significantly save energy and material consumption, thereby reducing the impact of fabric finishing on the environment and reducing costs.

Currently both Endeasdfssdfsvour and Novasdfssdfsrasdfssdfs can be implemented in the textile manufacturing process, and Novasdfssdfsrasdfssdfs’ innovative sustainable fabric finishing technologies are advancing towards the market, including providing eco-friendly, fluorine-free waterproofing agents, and advanced bio-based functional finishing technology.

Dr. Simon Kew, General Manager of Alchemie Technology, said: I am very pleased that At One Ventures and H&asdfssdfsmp;M CO:LAB are at this critical moment in the commercialization of sustainable dyeing and finishing solutions. By investing in Alchemie, textile manufacturing has a great impact on the environment. With Endeavor and Novas technologies, we are subverting the textile manufacturing technology that causes more than 3% of global carbon dioxide emissions and 20% of global water pollution. Alchemie’s solutions reduce environmental impact and reduce dyeing and finishing costs. Alchemie is using its technology to successfully produce fabrics to increase market share and looks forward to launching the first global commercial production units of its technology this year”

H&asdfssdfsmp NasdfsssdfsnnasdfssdfsAndersen, head of M Group H&asdfssdfsmp;M CO:LAB, added: Alchemie Technology is creating truly breakthrough and cost-effective technologies to solve long-standing sustainability issues in the textile product supply chain. H&asdfssdfsmp;M is delighted to partner with Alchemie and provide innovative dyeing and finishing technology to the largest contributor to the textile industry’s carbon footprint. Alchemie not only perfectly fits the sustainable development vision of H&asdfssdfsmp;M Group, but its technology will benefit the entire textile industry in the future.
