To avoid the spread of the Covid-19 mutated virus, the French High Commission for Public Health recommended the use of masks with higher filtration efficiency and issued No. 2021-76 on January 27, 2021 decree. The decree mentions:

1. Masks must be worn in any public area.

2. At the time of sale, compliant masks must be separated from non-compliant masks, and distributors must inform when masks comply with health authority recommendations.

3. Masks must meet the requirements listed and belong to one of the following categories:

(1 ) Masks that comply with EN14683+AC:2019 (or equivalent standards) are defined as medical devices;

(2) Imported masks with surgical shapes, excluding fabrics Masks with at least the same performance as those mentioned in bullet 4;

(3) FFP2 or FFP3 (EN149 or equivalent) masks without exhalation valve ;

(4) Non-hygienic masks (UNS) comply with:

——Particle filtration efficiency> 90% (3 microns);

——Breathability allows wearing the mask for 4 hours;

— —Air permeability>96L/m?/s (pressure difference 100Pasdfssdfs);

——The mask fits the face without sagittal seams;

——If it is reusable, it needs to be able to withstand at least 5 cleanings.

The above requirements must be inspected by an approved third-party laboratory. Reusable textile masks can still be used if they meet the new requirements. </p
