On April 7, 2021, the U.S. Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC) and Health Canada announced a recall of children’s bathrobes made in China and Turkey.
The recalled products are 3 models of children’s bathrobes. Animal models: rabbit, cat, dog, dragon, elephant, lion, monkey, moose, unicorn, sizes range from 2-3 years old, 3-4 years old, 4-5 years old. Variegated plush style: available in blue, gray, lavender, pink, sizes 18-24 months, 2-3 years old, 3-4 years old, 4-5 years old. Deluxe Sherpa model: available in charcoal, gray, ivory, lilac, navy blue, pink, sizes 18-24 months, 2-3 years, 3-4 years, 4-5 years, 6-7 Years old, 8-10 years old. The product does not meet the flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.
The recalled products were sold in the United States and Canada from April 2014 to December 2020, involving approximately 55,700 recalled products in the United States and approximately 3,900 in Canada. Prices range from $1 to $64.
So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.
CPSC and Health Canada advise consumers to stop using this product immediately and contact RH for a full refund.
