On October 12, 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2021/46, launching the first ban on metal-containing yarn originating in China, South Korea, India, and Taiwan, China. Three anti-dumping sunset reviews were filed for investigation. The products involved are metal-containing yarns made from fiber monofilaments, fiber flat strips or fiber powders and similar products under tax heading 54.04 or 54.05 combined with metal or metal coating. This case involves products under Turkish tax code 5605.00.
Stakeholders should submit questionnaires, case comments and evidence materials within 37 days of the announcement.

On February 7, 2004, Turkey issued a An anti-dumping investigation was initiated on metal-containing yarn. On September 24, 2004, Turkey made a positive final anti-dumping ruling on the case and began to impose an anti-dumping tax of US$2.2/kg on the products involved (see Turkey Announcement No. 2004/9). On July 21, 2010, Turkey made an affirmative final ruling on the first anti-dumping sunset review of the case, maintaining the anti-dumping duties on the products involved unchanged and valid for 5 years (see Turkey Announcement No. 2010/21). On October 13, 2016, Turkey made an affirmative final ruling on the second anti-dumping sunset review of the case, maintaining the anti-dumping duties on the products involved unchanged and valid for 5 years (see Turkey Announcement No. 2016/39).
