According to the “Generalized System of Preferences of the People’s Republic of China” “Measures for the Administration of Certificates and Visas”, the General Administration of Customs decided that starting from December 1, 2021, exports to EU member states, the United Kingdom, Canada, Turkey, Ukraine and Liechtenstein will no longer be granted preferential tariff treatment under China’s Generalized System of Preferences. For goods, customs will no longer issue GSP certificates of origin.
If the shipper of goods to the above-mentioned countries needs documents proving the origin, they can apply for a non-preferential certificate of origin.
