On October 30, 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2021/50, in response to the application of Turkish domestic manufacturers, to launch the third anti-dumping sunset for zippers originating in China. Review the case and investigate. The Turkish tax numbers of the products involved are 9607.22 and 9607.19.
Stakeholders should submit questionnaires, case comments and evidence materials within 37 days of the announcement.

On June 7, 2004, Turkey launched an anti-dumping investigation into zippers originating in China. On March 12, 2005, Turkey made a positive final anti-dumping ruling on the case and began to impose an anti-dumping tax of US$3/kg on the products involved (see Turkey Announcement No. 2005/7). On October 30, 2010, Turkey made its first affirmative final ruling on the anti-dumping sunset review of the products involved in the case from China, maintaining the anti-dumping duty of US$3/kg on the products involved, which is valid for 5 years (see Turkey Announcement No. 2010/29). On December 2, 2016, Turkey made the second affirmative final ruling on the anti-dumping sunset review of the products involved in the case from China, and extended the validity period of the anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the case for 5 years for the second time (see Turkey Announcement No. 2016/43).
