According to the “Unified Product List of Foreign Economic Activities of the Eurasian Economic Union”, it was decided to synthesize some varieties of meta-aramid fiber products used in the production of high-temperature-resistant personal protective equipment. Fiber imports are subject to zero tariffs for a period of 2 years. The zero tax rate applies only to such goods whose import purpose is confirmed by the authorized government department of the Eurasian Economic Union country. The current tax rate is 5%.
Decided to apply zero tariff to the import of some types of cotton fabrics used to make high-end and mid-to-high-end shirts for a period of 2 years. The current tax rate is 10%.
The above decisions will officially come into effect on January 2, 2011. </p
