Arzuw News Network of Turkmenistan reported on December 17 that a textile factory in Ahal Oblast of Turkmenistan was completed and put into operation on the same day. Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimukhamedov attended Commissioning ceremony.
The textile factory costs US$151 million and can produce 3,300 tons of yarn, 20 million square meters of fabric, and 3.5 million sewing garments annually. It will create 2,250 jobs. .
