Bangladesh’s textile and garment industry imports large amounts of cotton as raw material. At present, Bangladesh’s yarn and fabric exports are also increasing rapidly.
From July to December this year, Bangladesh exported yarn and fabrics worth US$80.48 million, an increase of 38.73% over the same period last year. In the 2020/21 fiscal year, Bangladesh exported $154.29 million in yarn and fabrics, an increase of 15.52% over the previous year. The main export destinations of Bangladeshi yarn and fabrics are India, China, Turkey, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and other countries. </p
