On January 6, 2011, South Korea’s Ministry of Planning and Finance issued Announcement No. 2011-11, which officially banned polyester originating in China in accordance with Order No. 888 of the Ministry of Planning and Finance. Anti-dumping duties are levied on Polyester FilasdfssdfsmentFullyDrasdfssdfswnYasdfssdfsrn, FDY. The measures will take effect on January 6, 2011 and will be valid for 5 years.
On January 27, 2021, the Korea Trade Commission launched an anti-dumping investigation into fully drawn polyester yarn originating in China. On June 17, 2021, South Korea made a preliminary anti-dumping ruling on the products involved in China and recommended that no provisional anti-dumping duties be imposed on the products involved. On December 18, 2021, the Korea Trade Commission issued an announcement to make a final anti-dumping ruling on the products involved in the case from China. It recommended that the Ministry of Strategy and Finance of South Korea impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the case for a period of 5 years at a tax rate of 3.95-10.91%.
