In February 2011, Vietnam exported 2.058 billion US dollars of textile and clothing, a month-on-month decrease of 42.38%, a year-on-year increase of 80.81%; the export of yarn was 132,400 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 8.20%, a year-on-year increase of 54.27% ; Imported yarn was 80,600 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 13.65%, and a year-on-year increase of 82.40%; imported fabrics were US$943 million, a month-on-month decrease of 32.24%, a year-on-year increase of 99.71%.
In January-February 2011, Vietnam exported textiles and clothing to US$5.629 billion, a year-on-year increase of 48.18%; exported 276,600 tons of yarn, a year-on-year increase of 10.48%; imported yarn 174,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 22.24%; imported fabrics were US$2.335 billion, a year-on-year increase of 47.79%. </p
