India exports 10,000 tons of cotton yarn

In January 2011, India exported 220,800 tons of cotton yarn (under HS: 5205), a month-on-month decrease of 9.77% and a year-on-year increase of 34.75%. In the fiscal year 2021/11 (August-January), India exported 693,700 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year increase of 31.06%. The main exporting countries and export volume proportions are as follows: exports to Bangladesh reached 276,200 tons, a year-on-year increase of 136.60%, accounting for 39.81 %, exports to China reached 127,100 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.12%, accounting for 18.32%. </p
