According to a report by the Lesotho National News Agency on March 27, two large textile factories, JSFasdfssdfsmp;SFasdfssdfsshion and TZICC, located in the Thetsasne Industrial Zone in Maseru, are about to face closure or layoffs.

Mokhele, head of the National Apparel Alliance and Workers Union (NACTWU), said that due to the epidemic and insufficient international orders, J&asdfssdfsmp;SFasdfssdfsshion is planning to close completely. Meanwhile, TZICC had also planned to shut down completely, but the union has convinced it to consider other alternatives, where workers will work in shifts for two weeks each month to earn a meager income.

It is understood that J&asdfssdfsmp;SFasdfssdfsshion has more than 1,000 workers and TZICC has about 800 workers. </p
