In April 2011, Vietnam’s textile and clothing exports reached 3.152 billion US dollars, a month-on-month increase of 3.26%, a year-on-year increase of 28.20%; the exported yarn was 146,200 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 10.99%, a year-on-year decrease of 10.70 %; imported yarn was 83,600 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 16.94%, and a year-on-year decrease of 18.95%; imported fabrics were US$1.452 billion, a month-on-month increase of 15.08%, a year-on-year increase of 2.86%.
From January to April 2011, Vietnam’s textile and apparel exports reached 22.834 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 11.20%; the exported yarn was 587,100 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.48%; the imported yarn Threads were 358,300 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.09%; imported fabrics were US$5.049 billion, a year-on-year increase of 23.72%. </p
