Pakistan’s textile and apparel exports in May reached US$1.642 billion, a month-on-month decrease of 5.58%, a year-on-year increase of 54.89%, the highest year-on-year increase in a single month this fiscal year; the export of cotton yarn was 27,100 tons, a month-on-year increase of 54.89%. An increase of 10.94%, a year-on-year increase of 14.83%; the export of cotton cloth was 36 million square meters, a month-on-month increase of 10.63%, a year-on-year increase of 43.63%.
