According to Urumqi Customs statistics, from January to June 2011, the export value of Xinjiang’s textile yarns, fabrics and products was 2.492 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 56.87%; the export value of clothing and clothing accessories was 11.162 billion yuan yuan, a year-on-year increase of 86.18%.
From January to June 2011, the import value of Xinjiang textile yarns, fabrics and products was 27 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 79.42%; the import value of clothing and clothing accessories was 0.00 billion yuan , a year-on-year decrease of 95.00%. </p
