According to Urumqi Customs statistics, from January to July 2011, the export value of Xinjiang’s textile yarns, fabrics and products was 3.393 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 61.72%; the export value of clothing and clothing accessories was 30.784 billion yuan yuan, a year-on-year increase of 71.84%.
From January to July 2011, the import value of Xinjiang textile yarns, fabrics and products was 28 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 80.86%; the import value of clothing and clothing accessories was 0.00 billion yuan , a year-on-year decrease of 94.34%. </p
