According to Urumqi Customs statistics, from January to September 2011, the export value of Xinjiang’s textile yarns, fabrics and products was 6.014 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 222.65%; the export value of clothing and clothing accessories was 51.883 billion yuan yuan, a year-on-year increase of 88.97%.
From January to September 2011, the import value of Xinjiang textile yarns, fabrics and products was 28 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 83.35%; the import value of clothing and clothing accessories was 10 million yuan , a year-on-year decrease of 89.89%. </p
