India exports 10,000 tons of cotton yarn

In October, India exported 28,300 tons of cotton yarn (under HS: 5205), a month-on-month increase of 8.02% and a year-on-year decrease of 75.73%. In the fiscal year 2011/23 (August-October), India exported 87,000 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year decrease of 75.22%. The main exporting countries and export volume proportions are as follows: 35,300 tons were exported to Bangladesh, a year-on-year decrease of 73.69%, accounting for 40.59%; 3,800 tons were exported to China, a year-on-year decrease of 95.80%, accounting for 4.34%. </p
