Chinese clothing manufacturer Omega Textile officially opens factory in Casablanca

Comprehensive Moroccan media reported on December 2 that the 78.6 million dirham factory invested by Chinese clothing manufacturer “OmegasdfssdfsTextile” Omega Textile in Casablanca was officially put into operation on December 1. The new factory will mainly be engaged in the production of knitwear. More than 60% of the products produced will be exported to the European and American markets, and the rest will be supplied to the local market. The factory’s turnover is expected to reach Dh45 million by 2024 and is expected to create 627 direct and indirect jobs. It is reported that the brand has opened two factories in Sedat to produce sports shoes and slippers. In Morocco, the textile and apparel industry is one of the most dynamic sectors in the manufacturing industry. According to the Association of Textile and Clothing Industries (AMITH), the industry contributes Dh30 billion to exports. </p
