On January 5, 2023, the US CPSC announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas.

The recalled product is a children’s two-piece long-sleeved shirt and pants pajama set made of 65% polyester and 35% rayon. Pajama sets are available in sizes extra small, small, medium, large and extra-large in colors and prints including olive camo print, black tie-dye and light blue and charcoal stripes. “P.J. Sasdfssdfslvasdfssdfsge,” “Made in China” and the size are printed on a black stitched fabric label on the neck of the recalled products. Size, “Not for use with sleepwear,” “RN15741,” fiber content, “Made in China” and washing instructions are printed on a white sewn-in side seam label. The tracking code “09/2021T2011” is printed on the second white stitched side seam label below the washing instructions label.

The product does not meet the flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.

The recalled products were sold in the United States from December 2021 to December 2011, with 2,650 units sold and priced at approximately US$56.

So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.
