Petra News Agency reported on February 15: Jordanian clothing imports increased by 11% in 2011, with a total value of JD 235 million, of which 41% (approximately JD 97 million) came from China, followed by Turkey JD 54 million respectively.
Official statistics show that the clothing, footwear and textile industry currently has about 22,000 enterprises across the country, employing 63,000 workers, the majority of whom are Jordanian. </p
