A trader in the Ludhiana market said: “There is speculation that many spinning mills have received export orders for large quantities of cotton yarn from Chinese buyers. The recent rise in ICE cotton futures has caused Chinese importers to shift some orders to India, which may be domestic The cotton yarn market provides support.”
