Uzbekistan’s cotton yarn production and textile exports fell sharply in the first half

Uzbekistan’s NUZ website reported on July 23, citing data from the Statistics Office, that Uzbekistan’s cotton yarn output in the first half of 2023 was 278,100 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 10.7%. Textile exports amounted to US$1.618 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 4.6%, of which manufactured products and cotton yarn accounted for 41% and 40.7% respectively. </p
