According to the latest statistics, Vietnam’s textile and apparel exports in October 2023 reached US$2.566 billion, a month-on-month decrease of 0.06% and a year-on-year decrease of 5.04%; the export of yarn was 162,700 tons, a month-on-month increase 5.82%, a year-on-year increase of 39.46%; imported yarn was 96,200 tons, a month-on-month increase of 7.82%, a year-on-year increase of 30.8%; imported fabrics were US$1.133 billion, a month-on-month increase of 2.97%, a year-on-year increase of 6.35%.
From January to October 2023, Vietnam’s textile and clothing exports reached 27.671 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 12.9%; the exported yarn was 1.4792 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 12%; the imported yarn 858,000 tons of threads were produced, a year-on-year decrease of 2.5%; imported fabrics were US$10.711 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 14.4%. </p
