Uzbekistan Daily News on December 25th, data from the National Economic and Statistics Committee showed that Uzbekistan’s textile exports increased significantly in the first 11 months of 2023 compared with the same period last year, and the export share caught up Ultra-textile finished product. Yarn exports increased by 30,600 tons, an increase of 108%; cotton exports increased by 238 million square meters, an increase of 185%; textile finished product exports increased by more than 122%.
Uzbek textiles have entered the supply chain of 27 international brands. In order to increase export volume, Uzbekistan’s textile industry strives to improve product quality, establish a “Made in Uzbekistan” brand, and create a good business environment. The EU implements Generalized System of Preferences (GSP+) for Uzbekistan, and Uzbekistan has large-scale exports to Germany, Italy, Poland and other countries. With the rapid development of e-commerce in Uzbekistan, it is expected that the export of related products will increase by US$1 billion in 2024. </p
