In November 2023/24, India exported 88,800 tons of cotton yarn (under HS:5205), a month-on-month decrease of 11.71% and a year-on-year increase of 88.94%.
The main export directions and export volume proportions of Indian cotton yarn in 2023/24 (August-November) are as follows: 172,400 tons were exported to Bangladesh, a year-on-year increase of 223.45% ( 53,300 tons in the same period last year), accounting for 42.20%; exports to China were 93,400 tons, a year-on-year increase of 1395.16% (only 6,500 tons in the same period last year), accounting for 22.86%. </p
