According to the latest statistics, Vietnam’s textile and apparel exports reached US$2.9 billion in December 2023, an increase of 5.49% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 0.01%; exports of yarn were 155,700 tons, an increase month-on-month. 4.13%, a year-on-year increase of 16.98%. Imported yarn was 95,400 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 4.24%, and a year-on-year increase of 16.80%; imported fabrics were US$1.143 billion, a month-on-month decrease of 2.89%, a year-on-year increase of 10.91%.
From January to December 2023, Vietnam’s textile and clothing exports reached 33.190 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 11.48%; the export of yarn was 1.7842 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 13.4%. Imported yarn was 1.0529 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.7%; imported fabrics were US$13.017 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 11.5%. </p
