On February 8, 2024, the U.S. CPSC and Health Canada announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s bathrobes.
The recalled product is Lolanda children’s hooded flannel bathrobe. There are two products, namely dinosaur shape (green, rose red, orange) and shark shape (blue, pink, yellow, gray), with belt and pockets, sizes 2-3 years old, 3-5 years old, 6 years old – 8 years old, measurements, manufacturer information and care instructions are printed on the inside label. The product does not meet the flammability requirements for children’s pajamas and may cause burns.
The products recalled were sold in the United States from January 2021 to October 2023, in Canada from December 2021 to October 2023, and in the United States. About 16,900 pieces were produced, and about 5,572 pieces were sold in Canada, priced at about $18.
So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.
