On March 7, 2024, the U.S. CPSC and Health Canada announced a recall of Chinese-made boys’ suits.
The recalled product is TommyBahama boys’ suit. The product is a combination of top and trousers, and the trousers are the ones that are recalled this time. The specific recalled product information is as follows:
The plastic piece at the end of the pants drawstring may loosen and fall off, posing a suffocation hazard.
The products recalled were sold in the United States from December 2023 to February 2024, in Canada from December 2023 to January 2024, and in the United States. Approximately 14,500 units were sold, approximately 661 in Canada, priced at $13 or $151.
So far, there are no reports of casualties in the accident.
CPSC and Health Canada recommend taking pants away from children immediately and cutting the drawstring, and contacting TJX for a full refund.
