The reason for the recall is that the minimum filtration rate of these KN95 masks exported to Canada cannot reach 95%. Wearing these masks will pose health and safety risks to users. .

In addition, Health Canada has required manufacturers and companies to recall these non-compliant products and provide instructions for initiating the recall in accordance with section 64 of the Medical Device Regulations.
