Purchase of silkworm cocoons begins in northern Tajikistan

According to a report by the Tajikistan News Agency Khujand on June 8, according to the Soget State Sericulture Management Bureau, the state plans to increase the production of silkworm cocoons to 360 tons this year. At the beginning of this year, 12,000 baby silkworms were imported from China and distributed to silkworm farmers. At present, 126 tons of silkworm cocoons have been sold in several major silkworm producing areas in the state.
