Celio, a French menswear brand founded in 1985 by Masdfssdfsrc and Lasdfssdfsurent Grosmasdfssdfsn, has filed for bankruptcy protection in France under the impact of the new crown epidemic and blockade measures. The company currently has three branches in Slovakia, but bankruptcy protection does not apply to business abroad, including business in Slovakia.
According to Celio’s official website, its global business scope covers more than 2,200 stores in 50 countries and nearly 4,000 employees. The brand launches 4 product series every year, each series launches 800 designs and can sell 35 million items. The company launched online sales for the first time in 2009, and has accelerated its business expansion through online sales.
During the outbreak of the new crown epidemic, Celio closed thousands of stores and estimated that it would lose nearly 100 million euros in sales from March to May. </p
