On June 26, 2020, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2020/14, launching anti-circumvention on synthetic long fiber fabrics and synthetic and man-made short fiber fabrics originating in China Open an investigation. Examine whether the products involved in the case originating in China were imported to Turkey through Spain, Italy, and Germany to circumvent anti-dumping measures. The Turkish tax numbers of the products involved are 54.07, 55.13, 55.14, 55.15, and 55.16.
On February 13, 2002, Turkey began to impose anti-dumping duties on synthetic long fiber fabrics (tax code 54.07) from China, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, and Taiwan. Tax (see Announcement No. 2002/2). On January 21, 2015, Turkey extended the anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the above-mentioned countries and regions for the second time (see Turkish Ministry of Economy Announcement No. 2015/3). On January 4, 2020, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2019/37, launching the third anti-dumping sunset review investigation on synthetic long fiber fabrics from the above-mentioned countries and regions. On December 18, 2006, Turkey’s anti-dumping duties on Chinese synthetic long fiber fabrics were extended to imported synthetic long fiber fabrics from the Philippines (see Announcement No. 2006/30). On August 11, 2015, Turkey extended the anti-dumping duties on Chinese synthetic long fiber fabrics to the products involved in Bulgaria, with tax rates ranging from 21.13 to 70.44%. On February 15, 2001, Turkey began to impose anti-dumping duties on Chinese synthetic and man-made staple fiber fabrics (tax numbers 55.13, 55.14, 55.15, 55.16) (see Announcement No. 2001/2). On December 31, 2018, Turkey extended the anti-dumping duties on Chinese synthetic and man-made staple fiber fabrics for the third time (see Announcement No. 2019/4). On August 11, 2015, Turkey extended anti-dumping duties on Chinese synthetic and man-made staple fiber fabrics to products originating in or imported from Poland and Bulgaria (see Announcement No. 2015/40). On May 7, 2019, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2019/15. Turkey will classify Chinese synthetic long fiber fabrics (tax number 54.07) and synthetic and man-made short fiber fabrics (tax numbers 55.13, 55.14, 55.15, 55.16) The anti-dumping duties were extended to fiber fabrics originating in or imported from Greece.
