-Pakistan’s textile and apparel exports grew .% to USD .0 billion

The latest data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) shows that Pakistan’s textile exports increased by 6.18% in October, and textile and clothing exports from July to October increased by 3.78% year-on-year to US$4.76 billion (last year $4.58 billion in the same period). The export volume of ready-made garments increased slightly by 4.66%, while the quantity decreased by 45.43% year-on-year. The export value of knitwear increased by 12.30%, and the quantity increased by 18.58%. The export value of bedding products increased by 9.95%, while the quantity decreased by 9.8%. The export value of towels increased by 12.35%, and the quantity increased by 9.49%. The export volume of cotton cloth dropped by 7.94%, and the quantity dropped by 23.55%. The export value of cotton yarn plummeted by 54.56%, and the export value of non-cotton yarn plummeted by 19.20%. </p
