In October 2020, Pakistan exported US$1.290 billion in textiles and clothing, a month-on-month increase of 8.4%, a year-on-year increase of 6.17%, a significant year-on-year increase; the export of raw cotton was 206 tons, a month-on-month increase of 505.88%, a year-on-year increase of 505.88%. A decrease of 78.85%; the export of cotton yarn was 26,100 tons, a month-on-month increase of 2.4%, a year-on-year decrease of 26.26%; the export of cotton cloth was 180 million square meters, a month-on-month decrease of 0.97%, a year-on-year increase of 30.31%.
In the 2020/21 fiscal year (July-October 2020), Pakistan exported US$4.76 billion in textiles and clothing, a year-on-year increase of 3.78%; exported 105,400 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year decrease 30.38%. </p
