In the past week, demand for Pakistani cotton yarn at home and abroad has been strong, prices have rebounded, and export quotations have increased by more than 1%.
Although many industries in Pakistan have stopped operating, the textile industry has not been affected. Therefore, domestic transactions have increased and factory operating rates continue to rise.
At the same time, due to strong demand from cotton mills, the price of cotton in Pakistan also increased by 2.16%, reaching 9,450 rupees/maund. BCI cotton prices did not change, organic cotton prices increased by 3%, and imported US cotton prices rose to 80.73 cents/pound. </p
