On January 9, 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2021/1, making the first ban on polyester synthetic filament yarn originating in China, India, and Malaysia. The anti-dumping sunset review made an affirmative final ruling and decided to continue to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the above three countries for a period of 5 years. China’s anti-dumping duties are US$0.25-0.30/kg, India’s US$0.15/kg-0.17 US$/kg, and Malaysia’s. USD 0.15/kg-USD 0.17/kg, please see the table below for the tax amount. The Turkish tax number of the product involved is 5402.47. The announcement shall be effective from the date of issuance.
Turkey’s anti-dumping sunset review of Chinese polyester synthetic filament yarn final tax schedule:
April 26, 2013, Turkey An anti-dumping investigation has been launched against polyester synthetic filament yarn originating in China, India and Malaysia. On October 16, 2014, Türkiye made a final anti-dumping ruling on the case. On July 12, 2017, the Turkish Ministry of Economy issued Announcement No. 2017/17, making a mid-term anti-dumping review and final ruling on the products involved in the three countries mentioned above, and raising the anti-dumping duties on the products involved in China to US$0.25/kg and US$0.30/kg. On August 4, 2019, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2019/23, launching the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation into polyester synthetic filament yarn originating in China, India, and Malaysia.
