The export value of six categories of commodities exceeded US$10 billion, of which textile and clothing exports were US$29.8 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 9.8%; footwear exports were nearly US$16.8 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 8.3%.
Vietnam’s import volume in December 2020 was US$27.9 billion, a month-on-month increase of 13%; the total import volume for 2020 was US$262.7 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3.7%.
The trade surplus for the whole year of 2020 will reach a record high of nearly 20 billion U.S. dollars, nearly twice that of 2019. </p
