On February 4, 2021, Argentina’s Ministry of Production and Development issued Announcement No. 21/2021, affirming anti-dumping on knitted gloves originating in China, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia. The final ruling decided to levy an anti-dumping tax of 42% of the FOB price on the products involved in the case from China, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia; and 35.06% of the FOB price on the products involved in the case in India. The Mercosur tax number of the product involved is 6226.10.00. The announcement takes effect from the date of issuance and is valid for 5 years.
On August 6, 2019, Argentina launched an anti-dumping investigation into gloves originating from China, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia. On December 19, 2019, Argentina’s Ministry of Raw Production and Labor issued Resolution No. 1266/2019, making a positive preliminary anti-dumping ruling on the case.
