On February 6, 2021, the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan issued Announcement No. 59/2021/NTC/PSF stating that in 2020, in response to Pakistani manufacturers ICI Pasdfssdfskistasdfssdfsn Limited and Ibrasdfssdfshim Fibers Limited The application submitted on December 14 initiated an anti-dumping investigation into polyester staple fiber originating in or imported from Taiwan, Indonesia, and Thailand. The Pakistani tax number of the product involved is 5503.2010. The products involved are used in the production of blended yarn and pure polyester sewing thread for woven and knitted fabrics. The dumping investigation period in this case is from October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020, and the damage investigation period is from October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2020. The preliminary ruling is expected to be made within 180 days of the announcement of the filing of the case.
Stakeholders should register to respond within 15 days of the announcement and submit relevant materials within 45 days.
