On May 7, 2021, the Committee on Dumping, Subsidies and Non-tariff Trade Barriers of the National Institute for Competition and Intellectual Property Protection of Peru published Article 169 in the official daily newspaper “ElPeruasdfssdfsno” -Announcement No. 2021/CDB-INDECOPI stated that it was decided to terminate the investigation of safeguard measures on imported clothing. This case involves clothing products with a total of 284 tax code sub-items under Chapter 61, Chapter 62 and Chapter 63 of the Customs Tariff.
