On May 14, 2021, the Mexican Ministry of Economy issued an announcement stating that it would make a preliminary anti-dumping ruling on polyester filament (Polyester Textured Yasdfssdfsrn/PTY) originating in China and India. It was ruled that provisional anti-dumping duties will not be levied on the products involved for the time being. The Mexican TIGIE tax number of the product involved is 5402.33.01. The announcement will take effect from the day after it is issued.
Stakeholders should submit case comments and evidence materials within 20 working days from the date of the announcement, and the deadline is 6 p.m. on the due date.
On March 31, 2020, Mexico launched an anti-dumping investigation into polyester filament originating in China and India. The dumping investigation period of the case is from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019, and the damage investigation period is from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2019.
