On August 9, 2021, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued an announcement stating that it would impose countervailing measures on viscose filament yarns of more than 60 denier originating in or imported from China (ViscoseRasdfssdfsyonFilasdfssdfsmentYasdfssdfsrnasdfssdfsbove60deniers) A negative final ruling was made and it was recommended that no countervailing duties be levied on the products involved in the case from China. The products involved do not include yarn/thread that can be used on embroidery bobbins and yarn produced using bobbin spinning technology.
On July 20, 2020, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued an announcement stating that in response to an application submitted by the Indian Man-made Fibers Industry Association [AssociasdfsssdfstionofMasdfssdfsn-MasdfssdfsdeFibreIndustryofIndiasdfssdfs (AMFII)], the original A countervailing investigation has been initiated against viscose filament yarns of over 60 denier produced or imported from China.
