The Chairman of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers Association (BGMEA) called on dye and chemical manufacturers to actively explore dyes and chemicals that are more cost-effective and comply with environmental protection principles.
Global prices of yarn, chemicals and other raw materials have skyrocketed, resulting in increased production costs for apparel manufacturing. The BGMEA chairman also urged global retailers and brand buyers to , the sales price paid to the manufacturer should be increased based on the actual cost increase to ensure rationality between purchases and sales.
