Vietnam’s textile and apparel exports in January 2011 were US$3.571 billion, a month-on-month decrease of 1.21% and a year-on-year increase of 34.11%. Exported yarn was 144,200 tons, a month-on-month increase of 16.37%, a year-on-year decrease of 12.35%, accounting for 67% of the total exports of foreign direct investment factories. The main export destinations were China (44%), South Korea (22%), and the United States (7.5%). .
