India exports 10,000 tons of cotton yarn

In February, India exported 92,200 tons of cotton yarn (under HS: 5205), a month-on-month decrease of 17.78% and a year-on-year increase of 22.72%. It was the lowest single-month export volume since April 2021. In the fiscal year 2021/11 (August-February), India exported 784,800 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year increase of 28.49%. The main exporting countries and export volume proportions are as follows: exports to Bangladesh reached 320,800 tons, a year-on-year increase of 139.79%, accounting for 40.87%, exports to China reached 131,500 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 16.50%, accounting for 16.76%. </p
